Air Malta Pilot Job
Requirements CPT:
• EASA Part-FCL Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with current A320 Type Rating and current
Instrument Rating.
• Minimum total of 5000 hours of which 500 hours must be on A320 type.
• Date of last flight on A320 within the past 24 months.
• Class 1 Medical Certificate issued in accordance with EASA Part-Med
• ICAO level 4 proficiency or better in the English Language
• MATSEC Ordinary Level pass at level 5 or better in Maltese.
• Preference will be given to pilots with recent previous Command experience with Air Malta.
Candidates must be prepared to undergo a comprehensive selection process, as per the company’s
Operations Manuals, which will include but not limited to a psychological assessment, and a full medical
examination. Candidates will also have to undergo further training commensurate to their command
experience

• Minimum 500 hours on the A320 type. Candidates having the A320 family Type Rating but less
than 500 hours on A320 may also be considered.
• Date of last flight on A320 within the past 24 months.
• Class 1 Medical Certificate issued in accordance with EASA Part-Med
• ICAO level 4 proficiency or better in the English Language
• MATSEC Ordinary Level pass at level 5 or better in Maltese.
• Preference will be given to pilots with recent previous flying experience with Air Malta.
