The Take-Off Cadet Program is designed specifically for fresh graduates, offering a pathway to a promising career in global air travel. As the demand for skilled pilots rises internationally, this program aims to train the next generation of successful aviators.
Candidates who excel throughout the selection process are enrolled in a comprehensive 15-18 month training program, comprising both theoretical instruction and practical flight courses. Subsequently, participants undergo 3-6 months of specialized type training at affiliated flight academies, transforming them into competent first officer candidates.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Must hold Turkish citizenship or have a blue card.
• Possess at least a bachelor’s degree (official or open education).
• Graduates from foreign institutions require a YÖK equivalence certificate.
• Age range: Born between January 1, 1995, and December 31, 2004.
• Must meet height (160cm-190cm) and body mass index criteria (20-30 range).
• Completion or deferral (minimum two years) of military service from the start date of training.
• No criminal records.
• Should not have been dismissed from previous roles at Turkish Airlines or its affiliates due to indiscipline or contract interruptions.
• Fluent Turkish is required for blue card holders or those with dual citizenship rights.
• Previous pilot training (PPL, CPL, ATPL, etc.) is not permitted.
English Language Requisites:
• Valid scores in the following exams, taken within two years before application:
o TOEFL (IBT): 60 (speaking min. 18)
o IELTS (Academic or General): 6 (speaking min. 6)
o PTE (Academic): 46 (speaking min. 46)
