easyJet is welcoming experienced and highly capable pilots to join its team, contributing to the delivery of safe, efficient, and enjoyable travel experiences. As a Captain, you will be central to ensuring seamless low-cost operations while supporting easyJet’s ambition to be Europe’s airline of choice. The airline is looking for professionals with existing Airbus ratings on the A330, A340, A350, or A380 to take on permanent positions based at London Gatwick. Following a self-funded Cross-Crew Qualification (CCQ) leading to an A320 rating, pilots will officially join the easyJet team. The training cost, capped at £8,000, is reimbursed upon the start of employment.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Current Airbus type rating
- At least 4,000 total flying hours
- A minimum of 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on jets exceeding 30 tonnes MTOW
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- UK CAA License, Class 1 Medical, and ICAO English proficiency at Level 4 or higher
The selection process includes multiple stages, starting with an online application and assessments, followed by an in-person evaluation at an assessment center.
