Ab-Initio: Aspiring Future Pilots

Being a pilot is a dream job. Every flight is unique, and every time you break through the clouds and see the sun, it’s more than fascinating. The combination of regulated professionalism, highly complex aircraft, great freedom, and much more makes this profession unique and very desirable for many young people. And rightly so, as Prof. Captain Jürgen Raps † – probably the best-known former Lufthansa captain – said:

Live your dream and don’t dream your life away.

There’s no question that being a pilot also has disadvantages that you need to be aware of – before you apply! That’s why it’s particularly important to talk to experienced pilots about their everyday work in order to get a realistic picture of your dream job. To this end, we are offering a free series of events very soon, where you will have the opportunity to ask your questions to an active, highly experienced pilot.

Have you done your research and decided to become a pilot? Then you can look forward to an intensive but incredibly rewarding training program! In our soon available event series, we will be showcasing the latest opportunities for becoming a pilot. You can choose to apply for an airline-affiliated program or a private flight school, followed by an assessment with an airline.

And after successfully completing your training as a fully qualified pilot, you will be living your dream. Jürgen Raps said:

I have never regretted a single day in my 41 years of professional life. Every day and every mission has been as exciting and interesting as I always hoped it would be.
