Recruiters usually look at hundreds of applications in a short period of time, so we recommend that you prepare your documents well &#8211; a mandatory task! A recruiter wants to be able to gather all the essential information at a glance and in just a few seconds. Your resume provides a summary of your professional career, qualifications, and education, and points out other relevant attachments.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"rank-math-steps\">\n<div id=\"howto-step-1717108260032\" class=\"rank-math-step\">\n<h3 class=\"rank-math-step-title\">Motivation Letter<\/h3>\n<div class=\"rank-math-step-content\"><p>A smartly written cover letter will set you apart from other applicants. Therefore, choose your words carefully.<br \/>A cover letter consists of five elements:<\/p>\n<p>1. Name and contact information<br \/>2. Company data (contact person if possible)<br \/>3. Greeting<br \/>4. Letter \/ body<br \/>5. Signature<\/p>\n<p>Your focus and primary work should be in the fourth part, which is usually divided into an introduction, a main body, and a conclusion. Prepare yourself accordingly by reading the job advertisement intensively and paying attention to the details; extract the essential keywords and match your skills. Also research the company and its philosophy. At the top, we recommend showing the <strong>total hours<\/strong>. For the individual positions below, make sure the hours are <strong>pleasantly readable and aligned<\/strong>. Focus on the essential and important aspects for the company. As with your entire application, the same applies here: Focus on <strong>relevant licenses<\/strong>, e.g. JAR-FCL ATPL or FAA ATP. Also include <strong>type ratings<\/strong>. The key to success is an accurate summary of your work experience. <strong>Avoid listing non-flying experience<\/strong> &#8211; unless you don&#8217;t already have any. Then list your current work experience here.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"howto-step-1717108357162\" class=\"rank-math-step\">\n<h3 class=\"rank-math-step-title\">Resume: Education<\/h3>\n<div class=\"rank-math-step-content\"><p>This section of the pilot resume includes your education: Include the <strong>highest level of education<\/strong> you have achieved, for example, a university degree. In case of <strong>multiple degrees or study abroad, list them all<\/strong>. Recruiters are usually not interested in your high school education. Inform the recruiter <strong>about yourself<\/strong>, your <strong>marital status<\/strong> and your <strong>citizenship<\/strong> (passport). What are your <strong>personal interests<\/strong> and what do you like to do in your free time? Non-flying interests are also desired at this point to get to know you better.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"howto-step-1717108368893\" class=\"rank-math-step\">\n<h3 class=\"rank-math-step-title\">Resume: References<\/h3>\n<div class=\"rank-math-step-content\"><p>Listing people as references and recommendations is <strong>optional, but recommended<\/strong> if you can provide such references. However, if you do not have enough space, you can delete this section. For references, it is best to <strong>choose two to three aviation-related individuals<\/strong>, such as chief pilot, captain or flight instructor. List the individuals, including their name, position, email address and phone number. Be sure to <strong>respect privacy laws and inform them that their personal information will be shared<\/strong>.
