German Airways WingsUp Phase 2 is an on-site PA-44 Seminole simulator flight at TFC Käufer in Essen. Used as Stage 2 of the ab-initio pilot selection, it focuses on simulator readiness and structured aircraft handling.

German Airways WingsUp Phase 3 is the on-site final stage of the ab-initio pilot selection process in Cologne, combining an interview and, where scheduled, a group exercise to assess communication, motivation and personal fit.
