KLM Ready Entry Phase 1: Online Assessment
KLM Ready Entry Phase 1 is completed online and serves as the first stage of the Ready Entry pilot selection process at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Candidates complete timed Cut-E / AON-style aptitude tasks focused on core cognitive skills. Relevant practice areas include monitoring moving objects, managing parallel tasks, sense of direction, RBI instrument interpretation and tube-flight-style spatial control. Stage 1 of 4
KLM Ready Entry Phase 1 is KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ online first-stage pilot selection assessment. It uses Cut-E / AON-style aptitude testing, assessing monitoring, multitasking and spatial-orientation skills under timed conditions.
Stage 2 of 4
KLM Ready Entry Phase 2 is KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ psychological assessment at the Aeromedical Center (AMC). As stage 2 of Ready Entry selection, it examines cognitive reasoning, personality, interview performance and behaviour in assessment tasks.
Stage 3 of 4
KLM Ready Entry Phase 3 is the on-site B737-800 simulator grading used in KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ ready entry pilot selection. Candidates demonstrate structured briefing, aircraft handling and sound decision-making in simulator scenarios.
Stage 4 of 4
KLM uses the Commissie van Aanname (COVA) as stage 4 of its Ready Entry pilot selection process. This final interview-focused stage examines motivation, self-reflection, professional attitude and fit with the airline.
