The Cargolux Assessment is the first stage for Ready Entry pilots and is typically conducted online. Candidates face an ATPL knowledge screening with multiple-choice items across performance, navigation, meteorology and operational procedures, plus core aptitude checks such as logical reasoning and basic mental arithmetic. Results are used to shortlist for subsequent simulator and interview stages. Timing is strict, and accuracy matters. Solid, up-to-date ATPL recall and calm time management are key to passing stage 1.
