The DLR Test for Ready Entry is the standardized stage 1 screening for experienced pilots, run by the German Aerospace Center in a proctored environment. Airlines such as Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa City Airlines, and Platoon Aviation use it to benchmark cognitive aptitude and knowledge before further interviews or simulator checks. Typical modules include spatial orientation (ROT, PPT, VLR/WFG), attention and speed (SKT, OWT), memory (VMC, RMS), multitasking/psychomotor (MIC, often with joystick control), mental arithmetic (KRN), logic/math, and aviation, physics and technical comprehension checks. DLR FQ/FU/GQ für Ready Entry

DLR FQ/FU/GQ ist die zweite Phase des Ready Entry-Pilotauswahlverfahrens und besteht in der Regel aus einem zweitägigen Vor-Ort-Auswahlverfahren beim DLR in Hamburg (der Ort kann variieren). Es umfasst ein Vorstellungsgespräch, eine Gruppenübung bzw. -diskussion, einen Brückenbelastungstest (DCT) und in manchen Fällen eine Simulatorschritt.
