Airline Assessment
DLR FQ/FU/GQ for Ready Entry
DLR FQ/FU/GQ (Company/Group Qualification) is commonly the second stage after the DLR BU in Ready Entry pilot selection. It is used by Discover Airlines, Lufthansa City Airlines and Platoon Aviation. The assessment usually runs for two days on site at DLR in Hamburg, although the venue can change. Depending on the airline, it may include an interview, group game or discussion, DCT bridge-loading test and simulator flight. Easyflight Training offers coaching with an experienced aviation psychologist (former DLR), a pilot personality test and self-study guidance. The coaching bundle currently excludes DCT and simulator CBT preparation.
Stage 1 of the Ready Entry pilot selection process, the DLR Test assesses key cognitive and knowledge skills. It is used by Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa City Airlines and Platoon Aviation.
DLR FQ/FU/GQ is stage 2 of Ready Entry pilot selection. It is usually held on site at DLR in Hamburg and evaluates psychological and interpersonal suitability through interviews and, depending on the airline, group exercises, DCT and simulator tasks.
