Develop your visual reasoning and attention to detail with our Assembling Templates training module. Practise mentally combining shapes, tracking overlapping objects and identifying the correct image as part of your pilot assessment preparation.
Each task presents several templates arranged with a diagonal offset. Your goal is to imagine how they would look when placed directly over one another and select the matching image from 3-9 answer options.
The order of the templates matters: those closest to the bottom-left corner are on top. Objects are not transparent, so shapes on the front templates cover any objects behind them where they overlap.
Only one answer is correct. The other options may contain missing objects, different colours or an incorrect layering order. Some differences are subtle and require careful comparison.
