DLR Test: German Police Helicopter Squadron Cadet Program
Stage 1 of the German Police Helicopter Squadron’s ab-initio selection process takes place at DLR in Hamburg. Candidates complete computer-based DLR assessments of abilities relevant to pilot training, including attention and concentration, memory, spatial and visual perception, mental arithmetic and logical reasoning, technical and physics knowledge, English, and psychomotor multitasking. Targeted preparation may cover formats such as MIC, VFF, RAG, SKT, RMS, OWT, PPT and curve counting. Assessment content, timing and procedures can change, so candidates should follow their official invitation and DLR instructions.
The first stage of the German Police Helicopter Squadron’s ab-initio pilot selection is held at DLR Hamburg. It assesses cognitive, technical, psychomotor and English-related abilities relevant to helicopter pilot training.
