DLR: Certificate Cockpit for EFA / LHG (Ab-Initio)
DLR Certificate Cockpit is the first stage of ab-initio pilot selection for European Flight Academy (EFA) and Lufthansa Group (LHG) pathways. RWL German Flight Academy and TFC Käufer accept the certificate as an assessment. Testing is on site in Milan, Hamburg and Zurich, in German or English. Easyflight Training supports both languages with a complete DLR bundle and targeted practice for MIC multitasking, RMS and VMC memory, SKT concentration, KRN mental arithmetic, OWT visual speed, VLR/WFG and PPT spatial tasks, ENS English, plus physics and technical comprehension. It is used by Air Dolomiti and Austrian Airlines.

Stage 1 of 4
DLR Certificate Cockpit is stage 1 of the ab-initio pilot selection process for European Flight Academy and Lufthansa Group pathways. It is taken on site in Milan, Hamburg or Zurich and is available in German or English.
Stage 2 of 4
The LHG Assessment is stage 2 of the ab-initio pilot selection process for the European Flight Academy and Austrian Airlines. It combines psychological exercises and psychomotor tasks in Hamburg or Zurich.
Stage 3 of 4
Stage 3 is an optional PIT simulator screening in Vienna for applicants to the Austrian Future Pilots Program. Austrian Airlines assesses coordination, multitasking and pilot-relevant skills; flight costs are covered on Austrian Airlines flights.
Stage 4 of 4
Optional Stage 4 of the ab-initio selection process is a two-day DLR FQ in Vienna, with a group exercise, bridge-loading test and interview. Austrian Airlines covers flight costs on its flights; successful candidates proceed to EFA training.
