KLM Ready Entry Phase 2: Psychological Assessment (AMC)

KLM Ready Entry Phase 2 is the stage‑2 Psychological Assessment at the Aeromedical Center (AMC) in Schiphol. It covers cognitive tests, a personality questionnaire, a planning task, a role‑play simulation and a psychologist interview.

KLM Ready Entry Phase 2 is the Psychological Assessment conducted on‑site at the Aeromedical Center (AMC) in Schiphol and used by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines as stage 2 of the Ready Entry selection. Candidates complete cognitive CBTs (verbal, numerical and logical reasoning such as word analogies, matrices, number sequences and syllogisms), a personality questionnaire, and a time‑pressured planning assignment. A psychologist‑observed role‑play simulation and a structured interview assess CRM, communication, decision‑making, stress tolerance and self‑awareness. Consistency, safety mindset and clear, structured behaviour are key to passing.

KLM Ready Entry Phase 3: B737 Simulator Grading

Stage 3 of KLM’s Ready Entry selection is a Boeing 737-800 simulator grading focusing on handling, procedures, CRM and briefings. Candidates fly line and abnormal profiles while assessors rate precision, capacity, situational awareness and teamwork.
