Logical Reasoning

Instructions – Logical Reasoning This test presents two facts followed by a statement. Your task is to determine whether the statement is true, false, or cannot be judged based solely on the given facts. Some questions may include clearly false or unusual statements (e.g., “Water is dry”) to increase difficulty. The actual meaning of the words is not important—just use the information provided to evaluate the conclusion. In the actual test at the AMC there will be 24 questions, each with a time limit. Example:
All flowers with petals are plants. No plant is poisonous. Statement: At least one of all the flowers with petals is not poisonous. a. True b. False c. Cannot be judged Reasoning: Since all flowers with petals are plants, and no plant is poisonous, it follows that no flower with petals is poisonous — so certainly, at least one isn't. The correct answer therefore is "True".
