Ready for Takeoff, But Anxious About the Assessment?

The psychological evaluation is one of the most challenging hurdles in becoming a pilot. Group seminars offer generic advice, but your journey, your strengths, and your concerns are unique. We provide a confidential, individualized coaching experience to navigate the complexities of your assessment and showcase your true potential.

Pass your pilot assessment with confidence through personalized 1:1 professional coaching from experienced aviation psychologists.

The Easyflight Training Difference

We go beyond standard test prep. Our approach is holistic, personalized, and rooted in decades of industry experience.

No group seminars. Every session is a confidential, one-on-one meeting tailored to your personal history, strengths, and areas for development. Discuss sensitive topics with complete privacy.

Your psychological coaches combine two core proficiencies: Former assessor experience (incl. DLR and Interpersonal) and long-standing experience as career coaches and job application consultants. This provides you with unique system knowledge and profound coaching insights.

We don’t just give you answers. We provide you with the tools and frameworks to understand your own biography, motivations, and competencies, empowering you to respond authentically and confidently.

Our support isn’t just psychological. Our bundles integrate your 1:1 coaching with comprehensive digital content, ensuring you’re prepared for every aspect of the assessment.

For maximum convenience, coaching is not only available during normal working hours, but (if required) also in the evenings, on weekends, and public holidays, with the flexibility to choose between online sessions or on-site training. Need more time? Sessions can be flexibly extended.

Gain access to top-tier, expert coaching without excessive costs. We believe in providing exceptional value to support the next generation of pilots.

Our Method: Mastering Key Pilot Competencies

Airlines and flight schools assess you against a specific set of competencies. Our training is structured to develop and demonstrate your abilities in each of these relevant areas. Click on a competency to learn more.

Motivation & Career Choice

Why do you want to be a pilot? This is a foundational question. We help you articulate your passion authentically, connecting it to your personal history and future aspirations. We’ll review your CV and biography to build a compelling and genuine narrative that showcases your commitment.

We work on: Articulating your “why”, demonstrating long-term commitment, understanding of the pilot profession’s challenges and rewards.

Technical & Operational Knowledge

Assessors need to see your dedication to learning. This includes not just aviation theory but also knowledge about the specific company or flight school you’re applying to. Our integrated digital learning tools prepare you for this, while our coaching helps you verbalize this knowledge effectively.

We work on: Company knowledge, understanding of flight principles, awareness of industry trends, and effectively communicating your technical grasp.

Social & Interpersonal Skills

The modern cockpit requires excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership (CRM). Group exercises and interviews are designed to test these skills. In our 1:1 sessions, we simulate these scenarios, providing direct feedback on your communication style, conflict resolution, and teamwork abilities.

We work on: Communication clarity, leadership potential, teamwork, conflict management, and assertiveness.

Cognitive & Psychomotor Skills

While our computer-based tests help you train core skills like multi-tasking and spatial orientation, the psychological interview will probe your decision-making process and stress management. We discuss how you approach problems and handle pressure, preparing you for complex simulator and interview scenarios.

We work on: Decision-making processes, situational awareness, stress tolerance, and problem-solving under pressure.

Personality & Attitude

Airlines are looking for a specific personality profile: reliable, resilient, self-aware, and responsible. Through guided self-reflection, we help you understand and demonstrate these traits. We explore your past experiences—both successes and failures—to show how you’ve developed the maturity required for the flight deck.

We work on: Self-awareness, responsibility, integrity, learning from mistakes, and demonstrating resilience.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule my two appointments?

Are the coaching sessions held online or in person?

Our psychological coaching sessions are conducted either in-person or online via video call for your convenience, allowing you to connect with our experts from anywhere in the world. You can find the in-person location on our individual products.

How well does online coaching work? Remote or in-person?

Preparation in the form of an online meeting via Microsoft Teams has proven successful because it allows the coach to gain a comprehensive impression of the customer’s verbal and nonverbal behavior, provided that the technical conditions are good (stable internet connection, good microphone, sufficient lighting, and an undisturbed and quiet environment). For very realistic preparation, we recommend scheduling the second appointment in-person to feel even more like you are in an exam situation. This is particularly advantageous for the complete interview simulation. Regardless of what you have booked, discuss the dates and venue with your coach.

What if I need more than the initial 3 hours of coaching?

While our 3-hour package is designed to be comprehensive, you can always book additional hours with your psychologist if you feel you need more targeted support on specific topics. This can be arranged directly with your aviation psychologist (coach) and booked online.

For which assessments and airlines is coaching offered?

We offer professional preparation for most airlines and assessment centers operating worldwide. We place particular emphasis on LHG Assessment, Interpersonal IP-CQ, AeroLogic, and other airlines in Europe.

In which languages is coaching offered?

We offer coaching in German language.

How can I prepare for the coaching so that I make the most of the three hours?

Please reflect on your previous experiences in exam and selection situations. Ask family and friends when your interest in flying first became apparent during your childhood and youth. Identify possible “tricky” questions about your CV, motivation, and personality. Get honest feedback from family, friends, and acquaintances, especially about your strengths and weaknesses, as well as specific situational examples.
