Although we compile our bundles with the greatest care, we cannot guarantee their completeness, as assessment content is subject to change at any time.
Transparency: We currently cover almost the entire assessment (just one test missing). We are currently implementing that reaction test and will publish it as soon as possible, probably within this month (December 2025).
Components of the AAA assessment
For private, integrated ATPL training (ab initio) at Aviation Academy Austria (AAA), you will go through an assessment center, which is conducted directly at the flight school. The renowned flight school primarily relies on assessment tests from the provider “AON.”
The AAA assessment process takes place in a single stage. It differs significantly from the selection process of the Austrian Airlines Beginner+ Program, which, in contrast to the AAA assessment, is primarily conducted by the DLR. Some tests, such as mathematics, physics, technology, and English, overlap thematically, but interactive tests in the area of cognitive abilities (e.g., multitasking, reaction speed) differ greatly from the DLR test.
